344. When you are not greedy for this world, Allah loves you; and when you don’t desire what people have, they love you. (Ibn Maajah)
345- مَالي ولِلدُّنْيا مَا أَنَا وَالدُّنْيا إِلَّا كَرَاكِبٍ اسْتَظَلَّ تَحْتَ شَجَرَةٍ ثُمَّ رَاَحَ وَتَرَكَهَاْ. الترمذي345. Why should I concern myself with this life; the parable of life and me is like a tree and a passerby who sheltered under it for a while, and then leaves. (At-Tirmithi)
346- مَنْهُومَانِ لَا يَشْبَعَانِ طَالِبُ عِلْمٍ وَطَالِبُ الدُّنْيَا. البزار346. Two types of people will never feel full, the one who seeks knowledge and the one who seeks riches of this world. (Al-Bazzar)
347- تَعِسَ عَبْدُ الدِّرْهِمِ تَعِسَ عَبْدُ الدِّينارِ تَعِسَ عَبْدُ القَطِيفَةِ إِنْ أُعْطِيَ رَضِيَ وَإِنْ لَمْ يُعْطَ سَخِطَ. البخاري347. Miserable is the slave of money; miserable is the slave of a luxurious life style; if he is given he is satisfied, and if he is prevented he is indignant. (Al-Bukhari)
348- إِيّاكُمْ وَالطَّمَعَ فَإِنَّهُ هُوَ الفَقْرُ الحَاضِرُ وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَمَا يُعْتَذَرُ مِنْهُ. الطبراني348. Stay away from being greedy because greediness is actual poverty, and avoid things you have to apologize for. (At-Tabaraani)
349- لَوْ أَنَّ لِابنِ آدَمَ وَادِيَانِ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ لَأَحَبَّ أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُ وَادٍ آخَرَ وَلَا يَمْلَأُ فَاهُ إِلَّا التُّرابُ وَيَتُوبُ اللهُ عَلَى مَنْ تَابَ. البخاري349. The son of Adam is greedy: even if he has two valleys full of gold, he wishes for a third; and nothing will fill his mouth except dust; and Allah accepts he who repents. (Al-Bukhari)
350- لَيْسَ الغِنَى مِنْ كَثْرَةِ العَرَضِ وَلَكِنَّ الغِنَى غِنَى النَّفْسِ. البخاري350. Wealth is not to have abundance, it is the contented soul. (Al-Bukhari)
351- كُنْ فِي الدُّنيْا كَأَنَّكَ غَرِيبٌ أَوْ عَابِرُ سَبِيلٍ وَاعْدُدْ نَفْسَكَ مِنَ المَوْتَى. البخاري351. Live in this world as a stranger or a gypsy and count yourself one of the dead. (Al-Bukhari)
352 - رُبَّ أَشْعَثَ أَغْبَر ذِيْ طِمْرَيْنِ يُدْفَعُ بِالأَبْوابِ لَوْ أَقْسَمَ عَلَى اللهِ تَعَالَى لَأَبَرَّهُ.مسلم352. A man with matted hair and dusty old clothes who is ignored by people, if he insists upon Allah for something it will be fulfilled graciously. (Muslim)
353- قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ وَرُزِقَ كَفَافَاً وَقَنَّعَهُ اللهُ بِمَا آتَاُه.مسلم353. Successful is the one who surrenders to Allah, and Allah gives him just enough and he is contented. (Muslim)
354- بَادِرُوا بِالأَعْمَالِ سَبْعِاً هَلْ تَنْظُرونَ إِلَّا غِنىً مُطْفِياً أَوْ فَقْرَاً مُنْسِياً أَوْ مَرَضَاً مُفْنِداً أَوْ مَوْتَاً مُجْهِزاً أَوِ الدَّجَّالَ وَالدَّجَّالّ شَرُّ غَائِبٍ أَوْ السَّاعَةُ والسَّاعَةُ أدْهَى وَأَمَرُّ؟.الترمذي354. Hasten in doing good deeds; are you waiting for wealth to turn you into a tyrant, or poverty to make you forget the world around you, or sickness to prevent you from doing good, or sudden death, or the Antichrist, which is the worst evil coming, or the hour, more trickier and bitterer? (At-Tirmithi)
355- مَن رَضِيَ مِنَ اللهِ بِاليَسِيْرِ مِنَ الرِّزْقِ رَضِيَ اللهُ مِنْهُ بِالقَلِيْلِ مِنَ العَمَلِ وَانْتِظَارُ الفَرَجِ عِبَاْدَةٌ.البخاري355. He who is satisfied with a few means of livelihood, his deeds will be accepted by Allah even if they are few; and waiting for the relief is a worship. (Al-Bukhari)
