661. Those who were the best among you before they became Muslims are the best among you in Islam if they understand Islam very well and apply it. (Al-Bukhari)
662- خِيارُكُمْ أَطْوالُكُمْ أَعْمَارَاً وَأَحْسَنُكُمْ أَعْمَالَاً.الحاكم662. The best among you is the one who lives long and is the best in deeds. (Al-Haakim)
663- خَيْرُكُمْ خَيْرُكُمْ لِأَهْلِه وَأَنَا خَيْرُكُمْ لِأَهْلِي.الترمذي663. The best among you is he who is best to his family, and I am the best among you to my family. (At-Tirmithi)
664- خَيْرُكُمْ مَنْ يُرْجَى خَيْرُهُ وَيُؤْمَنُ شَرُّهُ وَشَرُّكُمْ مَنْ لا يُرْجَى خَيْرُهُ وَلَا يُؤْمَنُ شَرُّهُ.أحمد664. The best among you is he whose goodness is sought and his evil is away; and the worst among you is he whose goodness is not sought and his evil is imminent. (Ahmad)
665- خَيْرُ عِبَادِ اللهِ الَّذِينَ إِذَا رُؤُا ذُكِرَ اللهُ وَشَرُّ عِبِادِ اللهِ المَشَّاءُونَ بِالنَّمِيمَةِ المُفَرِّقُونَ بَيْنَ الأَحِبَّةِ البَاغُونَ لِلْبُرَءاَءِ العَيْبَ.أحمد665. The best among Allah’s servants are those who, when you see them, you remember Allah; and the worst among them are those who gossip, break friendships amongst the beloved ones, and those who intend to cause trouble to the innocent ones. 666- خَيْرُ الأَصْحَابِ عِنْدَ اللهِ خَيْرُهُمْ لِصَاحِبِهِ وَخَيْرُ الجِيرَاِن عِنْدَ اللهِ خَيْرُهُمْ لجِارِهِ.أحمد666. The best companions in Allah’s estimation are the best towards their companions, and the best neighbors in Allah’s estimation are the best towards their neighbors. (Ahmad)
667- خَيْرُ المُسْلِمِينَ مَنْ سَلِمَ المُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ. أبو داود667. The best among Muslims are the tongue and hand from which Muslims are safe. (Abu Daud)
668- خَيْرُ الأَصْحابِ أَرْبَعةٌ وَخَيْرُ السَّرايا أَرْبَعُمائةٍ وَخَيْرُ الجُيُوشِ أَرْبَعَةُ آَلافٍ وَلَا تُهْزَم اثْنا عَشَرَ أَلْفاً مِنْ قِلَّةٍ. الترمذي668. The best companions are four, the best military mission is four hundred, the best army is four thousand, and an army of twelve thousand will not be defeated because of their number. (At-Tirmithi)
669- خَيْرُكُمْ قَرْنِي ثمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُم ثُم الَّذِينَ يَلَوُنَهُمْ ثم يَكُونُ بَعْدَهُم قَوْمٌ يَخَوُنوُنَ وَلَا يُؤْتَمَنُونَ وَيَشْهَدُونَ وَلَا يَسْتَشْهِدُونَ وَيَنْذُرُونَ وَلَا يُوفُونَ وَيَظْهْرُ فِيهِمُ السِّمَنُ. متفق عليه669. The best period of my Ummah is my century, then those who come next, then those who come next; then there will be people who betray and are not trusted, they will witness but would not like to be witnessed, they vow but do not fulfill their promises, and fatness will spread through them. 670- خِيَارُ أَئِمَّتِكُمْ الّذِينَ تُحُبُّونَهُم وَيُحِبُّونَكُمْ وَتُصَلُّونَ عَلَيْهِم وَيُصَلُّونَ عَلَيْكُم وَشِرَارُ أَئِمَّتِكُم الَّذِينَ تُبْغِضُونَهُمْ وَيَبُغُضِونَكُمْ وَتَلْعَنُوهُمْ وَيَلْعَنُونَكُمْ. مسلم670. The best of your leaders are those whom you love and they love you, you pray for and they pray for you; and the worst of your leaders are those whom you hate and they hate you, you curse and they curse you.
