671. (The Prophet said addressing Mecca,) verily, you are the best of Allah’s land and the most beloved land by Him; had I not been expelled out from you, I would have never left you. (At-Tirmithi)
672- مَا أَطْيَبَكِ مِنْ بَلَدٍ وَأَحَبَّكِ إِليَّ وَلَوْلَا أَنَّ قَوْمِي أَخْرَجُونِي مِنْكِ مَا سَكَنْتُ غَيْرَكِ. الترمذي672. (Addressing Mecca:) what a pleasant and lovable country to me! If your people had not expelled me, I would never have settled in any other land. (At-Tirmithi)
673- الصَّلَاةُ فِي المَسْجِدِ الحَرَامِ بِمائَةِ أَلْفَ صَلَاةٍ وَالصَّلَاةُ فِي مَسْجِدِي بِأَلْفِ صَلاةٍ وَالصَّلَاةُ فِي بَيْتِ المَقْدِسِ بِخَمْسُمِائَةِ صَلاةٍ. الطبراني673. One Salah in Al-Haraam Masjid equals one hundred thousand Salah, one Salah in my masjid equals one thousand Salah, and one Salah in Al-Aqsa equals five hundred Salah (regarding rewards). 674- لاَ تُشَدُّ الرِّحالُ إِلَّا إِلَى ثَلاثةِ مَسْاجِدٍ: المَسْجِدِ الحَرامِ وَمَسْجِدِي هَذَا وَالمَسْجِدِ الأَقْصى. الترمذي674. Traveling to masaajid is not an Ebada with the exception of three masaajid: Almasjidu-Al-Haraam, my masjid, and Almasjidu-Al-Aqsa . (At-Tirmithi)
675- نَزَلَ الحَجَرُ الأَسْوَدُ مِنَ الجَنَّةِ وَهُوَ أَشَدُّ بَيَاضاً مِنَ اللَّبِنَ فَسَوَّدَتْهُ خَطَايَا بَنِي آدَمَ. الترمذي675. The black stone descended from Jannah whiter than milk, then it became black through the sins of Adam’s children. (At-Tirmithi)
676- زَمْزَمُ طَعَامُ طُعْمٍ وَشِفَاءُ سُقْمٍ. البزار676. Zamzam is sufficient as a food and a cure of diseases. (Al-Bazzar)
677- عَلَى أَنْقَابِ المَدِينةَ مَلَائِكَةٌ يَحْرُسُونَها لَا يَدْخُلُها الطَّاعُون وَلَا الدَّجَّالُ. احمد و مالك677. Angels are at the entrances of Medina, guarding it, so the plague and Al-Dajjaal (the Antichrist) will never enter it. (Ahmad and Maalik)
678- هَذِهِ طَابَةُ وَهَذَا أُحُدٌ جَبَلٌ يُحِبُّنا وَنُحِبُّهُ. احمد678. This is Taaba (Medina) and this is Uhod, a mountain which loves us and we love it. (Ahmad)
679- مَا بَيْنَ بَيْتِي وَمِنبَري رَوْضَةٌ مِنْ رِيَاضِ الجَنَّةِ و مِنبَري عَلىَ حَوْضِي. مسلم679. What is between my home and my minbar is a garden of Jannah and my minbar sits along side my fountain. (Muslim)
680- مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ أَنْ يَمُتْ بِالمَدِينَةِ فَلْيَمُتْ بِهَا فَإِنّي أَشْفَعُ لِمَنْ يَمُوتُ بِها. احمد و الترمذي و غيره680. Whoever can die in Medina should die there, for I intercede for those who die in it. (Ahmad, At-Tirmithi, and others)
681- مَنْ صَبَرَ عَلَى شِدَّتِها وَلَأْوائِها كُنْتُ لَهُ شَهِيداً أَوْ شَفِيعاً يَوْمَ القِيَامَةِ. البزار681. He who bears patiently its (Medina’s) hardships and calamities, I will be his witness or his intercessor on the Day of Resurrection. (Al-Bazaar)
682- إِنَّها المَدينةُ كَالْكِيرِ تَنْفِي خُبْثَها وَتَنْصَعُ طِيبَها. الترمذي682. Medina is like the forge; it gets rid of its scum, and purifies its scent. (At-Tirmithi)
683- المَدِينَةُ حَرَمٌ آمِنٌ. احمد683. Medina is a safe sacred place. (Ahmad)
684- اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَل بِالْمَدِيْنَةِ ضَعْفِي مَا جَعَلْتَ بِمَكَّةَ مِنَ البَرَكَةِ. البخاري و مسلم684. Oh Allah, bestow upon Medina blessings double of that which you bestowed upon Mecca. (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
685- إِنِّي أُحَرِّمُ مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتيَ المَدِينَةِ أَنْ يُقْطَعَ عَضَاهَا أَوْ يُقْتَلُ صَيْدُها. مسلم685. I make it forbidden to cut the plants or to hunt the animals that are between the borders of Medina. (Muslim)
686- لَا يُرِيدُ أَحَدٌ أَهْلَ المَدِينَةِ بِسُوءٍ إِلَّا أَذَابَهُ اللهُ فِي النَّارِ ذَوْبَ الرَّصَاصِ أَوْ ذَوْبَ المَاءِ فِي المِلْحِ. مسلم686. Whoever wants to do harm to Medina’s people, Allah will melt him/her in the Fire as lead, or as salt melts in water. (Muslim)
