901. The likeness of the one who remembers his Lord and the one who does not remember his Lord is like the living and the dead. (Al-Bukhari)
902- سِيْرُوا هَذَا جُمْدَانُ سَبَقَ المُفَرَّدُونَ قَالُوا وَمَا المُفَرَّدُوْنَ يَا رَسُوْلَ اللهِ قَالَ الذَّاكِرُونَ اللهَ كَثِيْرَاً وَالذَّاكِرَاتِ. مسلم902. March forward! This is Jumdan (mountain), and the Mufarradun have gone ahead. They said, “Oh Messenger of Allah, who are the Mufarradun?” He said, “They are the men and women who remember Allah much.” (Muslim)
903- يَقُوْلُ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: أَخْرِجُوا مِنَ النَّارِ مَنْ ذَكَرَنِي يَوْمَاً أَوْ خَافَنِي فِي مَقَامٍ. الترمذي903. Allah Most Mighty and Magestic says, “Take out from the Fire those who have remembered Me for any single day or feared My dignity at any place.” (At-Tirmithi)
904- أَنَا مَعْ عَبْدِيْ مَا ذَكَرَنِي وَتَحَرَّكَتْ بِي شَفَتَاهُ. الترمذي904. I am with my servant as long as he remembers Me and his lips move with My name. (At-Tirmithi)
905- إِذَا مَرَرْتُمْ بِرِيَاضِ الجَنَّةِ فَارْتَعُوا قَالُوا وَمَا رِيَاضُ الجَنَّةِ قَالَ حِلَقُ الذِّكْرِ. أحمد905. If you pass by the Paradise’s gardens, stick to them. They said, “What are the Paradise’s gardens?” He said, “Thikr (rememberance) circles.” (Ahmad)
906- مَا مِنْ قَوْمٍ اجْتَمَعُوا يَذْكُرُونَ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لا يُرِيْدُونَ إِلَّا وَجْهَهُ إِلَّا نَادَاهُمْ مُنَادٍ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ أَنْ قُوْمُوا مَغْفُورَاً لَكُمْ قَدْ بُدَّلْتُ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ حَسَنَاتٍ. أحمد906. There is no group of people that gathers in order to remember Allah Most Mighty and Magestic, seeking nothing but his face, except that a caller cries out from heaven, “Rise up forgiven; your evil deeds have been changed to good.” (Ahmad)
907- يَا رَسُوْلَ اللهِ إِنَّ شَرَائِعَ الإِسْلَامِ قَدْ كَثُرَتْ عَلَيَّ فَمُرْنِي بِأَمْرٍ أَتَشَبَّثُ بِهِ فَقَالَ لا يَزَالُ لِسَانُكَ رَطْبَاً بِذِكْرِ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ. أحمد907. Oh Messenger of Allah, indeed the rules of Islam have become too much for me; command me something that I may readily cling to. So he said, “Let not your tongue cease to be moist with the remembrance of Allah Most Mighty and Majestic.” (Ahmad)
908- كَلِمَتَانِ خَفِيْفَتَانِ عَلَى اللِّسَانِ ثَقِيْلَتَانِ فِي المِيْزَانِ حَبِيْبَتَانِ إِلَى الرَّحْمَنِ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ العَظِيْمِ. أحمد908. There are two sentences that are light on the tongue, heavy on the scale (of deeds), beloved to the Merciful: Subhanallahi wa bi-hamdihi, subhanallahil-‘atheem - Glory be to Allah and by His praises, Glory be to Allah the Almighty. 909- مَنْ قَالَ لا إِلَه إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهُ لَهُ المُلْكُ وَلَهُ الحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ عَشْرَ مَرَّاتٍ كَانَ كَمَنْ أَعْتَقَ أَرْبَعَ رِقَابٍ مِنْ وَلَدِ إِسْمَاعِيْلَ. أحمد909. Whosoever says: Laa ilaaha illaallah - wahdahu laa sharika lah, lahul mulku wa lahul hamd, wa huwa ‘alaa kulli shay’in qadir - There is no god but Allah, alone with no partner, unto Him is the dominion and unto Him is the praise, and He is powerful over all things, ten times, it will be as though He has freed four slaves from the children of (the prophet) Ismail. 910- أَيَعْجَزُ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَكْسِبَ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ أَلْفَ حَسَنَةٍ فَسَأَلَهُ سَائِلٌ يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ كَيْفَ يَكْسِبُ أَحَدُنَا أَلْفَ حَسَنَةٍ قَالَ يُسَبِّحُ اللهَ مِائةَ تَسْبِيْحَةٍ فَيُكْتَبُ لَهُ أَلْفُ حَسَنَةٍ أَوْ يُحَطُّ عَنْهُ أَلْفُ خَطِيْئَةٍ. (مسلم)910. Is any one of you incapable of earning a thousand good deeds every day? So a questioner asked him, “Oh Prophet of Allah, how could any one of us earn one thousand good deeds?” He said, “He (who) gives glory (saying subhaanallah) to Allah one hundred times has written for him one thousand good deeds, or one thousand sins are reduced for him.” (Muslim)
911- لَأَنْ أَقُوْلَ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَالحَمْدُ للهِ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِمَّا طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ. مسلم911. That I should say, “Subhanallah, wal-hamdulillah, wallaahu akbar- Glory be to Allah, and praises be to Allah and Allah is the greatest,” is more beloved to me than (everything) that the sun rises on. (Muslim)
912- أَلَا أُخْبِرُكَ بِأَحَبِّ الكَلامِ إِلِى اللهِ؟ إِنَّ أَحَبَّ الكَلامِ إِلَى اللهِ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ. مسلم912. Shall I not inform you of the most beloved phrase to Allah? Indeed the most beloved phrase to Allah is: Subhanallahi wa bi-hamdhi - Glory be to Allah and by His praise. (Muslim)
913- مَنْ قَالَ في أَوَّلِ يَوْمِهِ أَوْ في أَوَّلِ لَيْلَتِهِ بِسْمِ اللهِ الَّذِيْ لا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ في الأَرْضِ وَلا في السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيْعُ العَلِيْمُ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ لَمْ يَضُرُّهُ شَيْءٌ في ذَلِكَ اليَوْمِ أَوْ في تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةِ أحمد913. Whosoever says at the beginning of his day or at the beginning of his night: Bismillahil-ladhi laa yadhurru ma’ismihi shay’un fil-ardhi wa laa fis-samaa’i wa huwas-samii’ul-‘aleem - In the name of Allah with whose name nothing is harmed on earth nor in the heavens and He is the All-Seeing, the All-Knowing, three times, nothing will hurt him in the that day or in the night. 914- مَا جَلَسَ قَوْمٌ مَجْلِسَاً فَتَفَرَّقُوا عَلَى غَيْرِ ذِكْرِ اللهِ إِلَّا تَفَرَّقُوا عَنْ مِثْلِ جِيْفَةِ حِمَارٍ وَكَانَ ذَلِكَ المَجْلِسُ عَلَيْهِمْ حَسْرَةً يَوْمَ القِيَامَةِ. أحمد914. No group of people sits together and then disperses without having remembered Allah except that it disperses like the corpse of a donkey; and that gathering will be a loss for them on the Day of Resurrection. 915- مَنْ قَالَ حِيْنَ يُمْسِي: اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّيْ لا إلهَ إلا أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِيْ وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ أَبُوْءُ بِنِعْمَتِكَ وَأَبُوْءُ بِذَنْبِيْ إِنَّهُ لا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوْبَ إَلَّا أَنْتَ، فَمَاتَ مِنْ يَوْمِهِ أَوْ لَيْلَتِهِ دَخَلَ الجَنَّةِ. أحمد915. Whosoever says when he enters into the morning and evening: Allahummah, anta rabbi, laailaaha illah anta, khalaqatani, wa ana ‘abduk, wa ana ‘alaa ‘ahdika wa wa’dika ma-stat’at. A’uthu bika min sharri ma sannat. Abuu’u laka bi-ni’matika wa abuu’u laka bi-dhambi, fa-ghfirli, fa innahu laa yaghfiruth-thunuba illa ant - Oh Allah, you are my Lord, You created me and I am Your servant, and I am trying my best to maintain my covenant and I am awaiting Your promise. I seek refuge in you from the evil I have done. I confess Your favors (that You have bestowed upon me), and I confess my sins, so forgive me, for indeed there is nobody to forgive sins but You; and then dies during the day or the night will enter Paradise.
